As a corporate innovator, I ensure that a company remains competitive, adaptable, and able to seize new opportunities in the ever-changing business landscape.

My main responsibilities include:

1. Innovation Strategy: Develop and implement an innovation strategy aligned with the company’s long-term objectives and strategy. This involves understanding the company’s playing field and designing suitable innovation activities to decrease the risk of new ideas as fast (and cheap) as possible.
2. Portfolio management: Manage the portfolio of innovation projects to ensure they make evidence-based progress and increase their potential value contribution to the company. This includes killing ideas when needed. The ultimate goal is to maximize the return on investment (ROI) of all innovation efforts.
3. Innovation practice: I design and lead the systematic and recurring activities, processes, and tools to foster and implement successful innovation efforts within an organization.
4. Innovation Culture: The absence of an innovation-compatible mindset within an organization is the primary reason innovation efforts fail. I work to cultivate mindsets, attitudes, and environments that inspire teams to embrace uncertainty, conduct experiments, take calculated risks, and accept failure as a natural step to success.
